There are many ways you can donate to the Christy Sims Foundation and help us provide education and awareness programs to prevent domestic violence. We are an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and, as such, you may qualify for a tax deduction. Please carefully review the Charitable Contributions Deductions mini-course from the IRS’ official website to see if your donation will qualify.
Give Money.
No financial donation is too small, and your financial donations are tax deductible. Every penny will fulfill the foundation’s mission, which is to educate the community, increase awareness and raise funds to support victims of domestic violence and their children, providing resources to help them rebuild their lives and support them in their journeys to recovery.
You can donate now through our PayPal account or go to any Wells Fargo bank location and ask to deposit money into the Christy Sims Foundation account.
Receipts for qualifying contributions can be obtained by emailing info@christysims.org. Please provide any proof of donation, along with details as necessary (refer to the IRS website link above for guidelines on what contributions are tax-deductible). Please allow 5-7 business days for your receipt.
Give Time.
Not everyone has money to give, but your time is a valuable resource for the foundation as well. Email info@christysims.org and let us know how you’d like to contribute.
Not sure what role you can play? No problem. Our representatives would be happy to let you know what volunteer openings currently exist.

Give Other Resources.
There are many resources that can help the foundation achieve its goals for Christy, and many qualify for tax deductions. Email us at info@christysims.org today if you feel you have other resources that may be of assistance to Christy or the foundation. Refer to the IRS’ official website for more information about what qualifies for tax deduction.
Examples of other resources could include (but are not limited to):
- Tangible resources to support the foundation’s operations (office supplies, laptops, etc.)
- Event space for fundraising events
- Catering or entertainment services for fundraising events
- Marketing collateral, such as t-shirts or other items that we can brand with our logo and distribute to Christy’s Angels to help spread awareness
